Ambrose Hotel Los Angeles, Los Angeles

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable, making my getaway truly relaxing. The service exceeded my expectations with the staff always helpful and friendly. The location was excellent, offering great walking possibilities and close proximity to local attractions. The dining experience was good, although the options were a bit limited. The facilities were well-designed and modern, adding to the overall positive experience.

The hotel provides fresh and clean rooms, facing away from the delivery area, which are on the larger side, nicely appointed, and very clean. The service is fantastic and professional, contributing to a lovely getaway experience. The location is in central Santa Monica, California, but being closer to the ocean would have been ideal. The dining offerings are described as opulent European style with a good variety, though expectations for more substantial breakfast options were not fully met.

Upon arrival at the back of the hotel, we noticed a unpleasant smell but were relieved to find a controllable thermostat and a convenient mini refrigerator doubling as a mini bar in the room. The service, though marred by the front desk staff's stress, attempted to accommodate during our brief one-night stay. The location, despite the lack of nearby amenities, offered spacious rooms in the heart of Santa Monica. The dining experience exceeded expectations with a variety of delicious options for breakfast.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were modern, nicely decorated, and had great lighting, including a makeup mirror. Sitting back and relaxing while enjoying the breakfast and wine hour was a fantastic experience, even though my room faced the alley. The service was top-notch with super knowledgeable and helpful staff who were always friendly and welcoming. Despite being in a residential area with no immediate dining options, the hotel still provided easy access to nearby attractions like the Promenade and Santa Monica Pier. The dining experience was phenomenal with Europeanesque offerings and fresh salads. The hotel offers an opulent European style that truly pleases the guests.

I had a wonderful stay at The Ambrose. The rooms were nicely decorated with modern furnishings and a comfortable king-size bed, making it a seriously comfortable place to rest. Additionally, the location was very convenient, with Tartines bakery soon to open across the street, providing easy access to all the happenings in Santa Monica. However, the only downside was having a queen bed instead of a king, but everything else made up for it!
